Vladimir Tsepkin (Moscow, Russia)

iz woodcarver, master of art of small sculpture

related to the Russian nature (lake Ladoga, Valaam Island,

nord-west of Russia). Vladimir is the creator of unique

tinted haut-relief panels who has revived old traditions of artistic wood carving and tinting.

 He prefers to work with aspen wood, wich is now rarely selected for carving,

 but was often used by Russian masters in old times.

The natural silvery tint of this wood adds particular appeal to Vladimir`s works.

His most characteristic work is a series of architectural landscapes of the Moscow

region palace of Empress Catherine the Great in Tsaricino.
